Great cottage for which the photos don't do it justice. Its, clean, tidy, well fitted out, and with a beautiful log fire. The owners clearly take great care of the property and it's gardens. The staircase is a little steep, with a frayed rope handrail. It is accessible, but just needs a little care. However, there is a bedroom downstairs which is equally as lovely. The only improvement would be instructions on how to get into the estate for those that arent local. Overall an excellent cottage and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Our two nights at East Lodge last weekend were excellent. Extremely comfortable and clean - everything we needed for a relaxing weekend, with the best bit of all - a secluded, sheltered and well tended garden with hot tub. Perfect bliss.

Stayed in East Lodge for a weekend break. Lovely place to stay. All the home comforts you need and spotlessly clean. Hot tub and private garden is a nice touch and the estate grounds, horses and pub / restaurants nearby are all great to explore.

Had my first simulated game day here today, and what a amazing day. Steve and his team were top notch at making our experience so much fun.
To sum it up
Clay targets set in a beautiful estate.
Excellent hospitality.
Value for money was superb
Amazing memories and fun we're made today.
Will definitely be back.

Lovely off road hacking tracks all been mown so horses have great going. Easy to book and good price. Very easy to get to. Definitely be going again

A lovely warm welcome, fantastically organised.
Well marked route, and the going was great, all ended on the gallops. My first ever fun ride, I loved it, and I will definitely be back.
Oh, I near forgot, complimentary coffee, bacon rolls, and rocky road ❤️❤️

Absolutely beautiful place to visit with your horses. Gallop track is perfect, then the hacking is positively breath taking. Easily marked out with arrows and all in a setting that takes your breath away. Even my horse kept stopping to take in the scenery.

Hired the gallops and had a great time! Wasnt sure which entrance to use but Charlie was helpful in directing us. Farm entrance for anyone not sure.

We had to reschedule our original booking and again, Charlie was great with this and honoured our payment booking which was very kind.

Parking and finding the gallops was all very clear and well signposted.

The gallops were a great surface for the horses who had a great time!
